MF Family Home Care is a home care agency in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts. This page explains what this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us at (781) 243-9736 and ask.
This policy covers mffamilyhomecare.com. The records we keep for families who become clients are separate from the website and are handled under our care agreement with you.
There are only two ways this website collects anything about you.
1. What you choose to tell us. If you fill in the contact form, you send us your name, a phone number, and — if you fill them in — an email address, the time of day that is easiest to reach you, the service you are asking about, and whatever you write in the box describing your situation. Only the name and the phone number are required. The form sends that message to our email inbox. It is not stored in a database on this website.
2. What Google Analytics measures. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It tells us things like which page you landed on, roughly what part of the country you are in, whether you came from a search engine, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. It does not tell us your name, and we never try to match it to a person.
We do not take payment on this website. There is no login, no account, and no patient portal. We do not use advertising trackers, retargeting pixels, or social media pixels of any kind. We do not buy information about you from anyone else.
The contact form is ordinary email, not a secure medical portal. Please do not type diagnoses, medication lists, insurance numbers, or other detailed medical information into it. Tell us your situation in general terms — “my mother came home from the hospital last week and can’t manage the stairs” is exactly right — and we will take the details on the phone, where they belong.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell one visit apart from another. That is the only cookie this site sets on purpose.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Nothing on this site stops working if you do. If you would rather Google Analytics not measure you at all, Google publishes a browser add-on for that at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our contact page shows a Google Map so you can find the office. Loading that map is a request to Google, and Google may set its own cookies when it loads. If you would rather not load it, the address is written out in text right below the map.
Nobody, with two narrow exceptions:
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with lead-generation companies, referral services, or marketing lists. If a family calls us and we are not the right fit, we may suggest another agency by name — but we do not hand your contact details to anyone without asking you first.
The only other circumstance in which we would share anything is if we were legally required to.
We keep inquiry emails for as long as they are useful — sometimes a family calls back months later, and it helps to remember the first conversation. If you would rather we didn’t, say so and we will delete it.
Google Analytics keeps its measurement data on Google’s servers under Google’s own retention settings.

This website is meant for adults arranging care for an adult. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, call us and we will delete it.
Inquiries reach us over an encrypted connection — every page on this site is served over HTTPS — and land in a password-protected email account. Access is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise; what we can say is that we keep as little as possible, for as short a time as you want.
If we change how any of this works, we will change this page and update the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting something new and leave this page as it was.
